Plump Quail Linocut Print

Description

This print was inspired by a photograph of a very beautiful and very fat California Quail. Its perfect plumpness precludes the need for feet or wings.

This is a limited edition linocut print. Each print will vary slightly in color and texture.

Dimensions: 7.5″ x 10″

This original work was hand-printed on high quality archival paper. Printing this artwork involves carving an image into a linoleum block, rolling ink over the surface, then pressing to paper. Of course it’s all a bit more complicated than that because this print is multiple colors and would be a lot easier with an actual printing press, but a wooden spoon works alright too.

This print comes unframed, signed in pencil.
