My brother reunited a Canada Goose family and escorted them to the Silver Lake Reservoir

Yesterday, my twin brother Brian video called me to share a wild goose story that just happened in his neighborhood. He sent me a bunch of videos and proceeded to tell this story.

Brian and a neighbor chaperoning a gaggle of Canada Geese
It started like a parade
Yesterday afternoon, Brian received a call from his partner to come outside to see something crazy. It was a "parade" of Canada Geese walking down the street. These six birds slowly walked in a single file line and were holding up at least two cars. 🤣️
A dangerous direction
Brian noticed that the geese were walking toward a busy street, so he and the neighbors redirected them to safety.
As this happened, a neighbor drove by and said there is a 7th elderly goose that accidentally got into his open garage earlier.
It is a goose rescue mission
It became clear that the geese formed a search party. These determined birds were wandering on foot around Silver Lake looking for their friend. Next, Brian and the neighbor Amos herded the geese to the man's garage and kept them occupied by tossing bits of sourdough bread.
The garage was finally opened up to reveal an old Canada Goose standing alone.
Leading the geese to safety
The goose family is together again but the gaggle was still too close to that dangerous road.
So, Brian and Amos began to herd the geese a few blocks down the street. They led the geese to a shaded area at the Silver Lake Reservoir.
The geese then napped
Brian revisited the reservoir a few hours later to find the geese napping next to the water. I'm pretty sure that means they're happy.
Thank you, Brian, Amos, and the neighbors who took time to listen to the geese and help them in a respectful way.

Here are some of the geese napping next to the water.
See, sometimes Canada Geese are not mean and scary.
